Steven Spielberg

Steven dropped out of junior high school. He was persuaded to come back and was placed in a learning-disabled class. He only lasted a month and dropped out of school forever.

Later in his life, he applied to USC film school twice but was rejected both the times.

He is considered one of the founding pioneers of the New Hollywood era and one of the most popular directors and producers in film history.

Spielberg started in Hollywood directing television and several minor theatrical releases.
